Lethbridge, AB– It’s Grand Opening Party Time again at Average Joe’s Sports Bar in downtown Lethbridge. On Friday, September 3rd Average Joe’s will celebrate the new name for their back room music venue by welcoming you to Joe’s Garage. Joe’s Garage, where the music is great and anything can happen.

The party atmosphere will be led by the music of rising country star Shane Chisholm. Shane, who hails from Claresholm, is a multi talented member of the Canadian country music world. He has played base and sung back up for Gord Bamford , George Canyon and Julian Austin. He writes his own songs and has his own CD out titled Hitchhiking Budda . ( give it a listen on Shane’s website, www.shanechisholm.homestead.com). In 2009 he was nominated for the CCMA Country Roots Artist of the Year award. Not only that, he makes his own instruments, his latest being an upright base crafted from the gas tank of a Chevy mini van.

The party starts early at Joe’s Garage and Shane’s performance will begin at 10:00 P.M. There will be a $10.00 cover charge after 9:00.

Along with their own creative and catchy original tunes, the Culprits also play an endless list of classic covers from AC/DC to ZZ-Top - Including The Beatles, CCR, The Doors, Jimi Hendrix, Nirvana, Pink Floyd, The Rolling Stones, Stray Cats, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Sublime, Van Morrison, and many more.

Leaving the comfort and beauty of Kelowna BC, The Unknown Culprits recently relocated to Toronto to break in to its booming music industry. With incredible instrumental skill and powerful, yet melodic vocals, this powerhouse trio brings a high-energy style of Rock 'n' Blues that is all their own. After only a few short months in Toronto, they have already been making waves with gigs in some of Canada's premiere rock venues (The Horseshoe Tavern, Lee's Palace, The Hard Rock Cafe). In the past the Culprits have played festivals and concerts alongside famous acts including Lynard Skynard and Steppenwolf, and opened for Wide Mouth Mason at the 2006 Okanagan Music Awards.

This is your chance to check out one of Canada's best up-and-coming Indie bands in an intimate stage setting. The Unknown Culprits will take the stage at 10:00 PM and there is a $5 cover charge.

Lethbridge, AB–. The two words above go well together at any time, but on September 9th they will really go well together. Thursday, September 9th is the night on which Trevor will release his latest CD, ANOTHER DAY – ANOTHER DOLLAR.

Trevor, the big boy with the big voice, is well known in southern Alberta country music circles. He has been entertaining audiences for well over a decade with a blend of country classics and his own musical compositions. Trevor has had many highlights in his career including being a finalist in the Country Music Showdown in Nashville, winning the Country Vocal Spotlight at the C.F.R. in Edmonton, and opening for the likes of Ian Tyson, Dan Seals and Keith Urban.

The Trevor Panczak CD release party will be presented by Average Joe’s Sports Bar on Thursday, September 9th starting at 8:00 P.M.
